PADI Open Water Diver: In-Water Training
Finish what you started online.
Already completed your PADI Open Water eLearning? This is where it all comes together. With a YAY Scuba PADI Instructor by your side, you'll turn what you learned online into real skills underwater. You'll start in the pool and finish with your open water dives. When you're done, you'll be a certified diver, ready to dive with a buddy almost anywhere in the world.
What you'll do
- Gear up: Learn to set up, use, and care for your scuba equipment.
- Master buoyancy: Learn to hover effortlessly, the key to great dives and protecting the reef.
- Build core skills: Clear your mask, share air, and handle common problems calmly.
- Dive with a buddy: Plan and make dives the way certified divers do.
How it works
- Pool sessions: Practice your skills in the pool with your instructor until they feel natural.
- Open water dives: Complete four dives in open water to put everything together and earn your certification.
After certification: You can dive to a maximum of 60 feet, rent gear, get tanks filled, and book dive trips anywhere in the world.
