Emergency Oxygen Provider
PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Course
Learn the skill that can make the biggest difference in a dive emergency.
Emergency oxygen is the most important first aid for scuba diving injuries such as decompression sickness and lung overexpansion injuries. Getting oxygen to an injured diver quickly can make a real difference in their outcome. The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course teaches you to recognize these injuries and safely deliver emergency oxygen until medical help takes over. There's no diving required, so it's a short course that fits easily into a busy schedule.
What You'll Learn

- How emergency oxygen equipment works, including cylinders, valves, regulators, and delivery devices
- Safety considerations for handling and using oxygen
