Haven't been diving in a while? This refresher skips the online coursework and gets you straight into the pool with a YAY Scuba instructor. It's perfect if you remember the theory but want to feel comfortable and confident underwater again before your next trip or local dive.

What you'll practice

• Gear setup: Assemble, check, and put on your scuba unit.
• Core skills: Mask clearing, regulator recovery, and alternate air source use.
• Buoyancy: Get your trim and hovering dialed back in.
• Ascents, descents, and problem handling: Review what to do if something doesn't go as planned.

How it works
Join your instructor for a relaxed, hands-on pool session. We'll start with the essential safety skills, then spend the rest of the time on whatever you want to work on most. You set the pace.

Who it's for

• Certified divers who haven't been underwater in a while
• Divers getting ready for a dive trip who want a quick tune-up
• Anyone who wants to try out new or rental gear in the pool first

Prerequisites

• Scuba certification from PADI or any recognized agency
• Minimum age 10

• Bring your mask, fins, snorkel, and boots.
